I just wanted to thank all the sweet people that have emailed me and all the readers of this blog. In an effort to show my great appreciation and to catch this blog up to the new series premiering Sunday June 6. I will be posting looks and IDs on the most requested Gosselin Garb and I will do this leading up to premiere night. So everything you saw throughout last summer, public appearances, special guest correspondent, book signings DWTS etc. will be posted here non stop for the next 72 hours. *(Of course I have to sleep, so this is not like that newstory of the Lost fans that dressed up in Dharma suits and watched Lost Seasons 1 through the Finale without sleeping) I won't be wearing my Kate Halloween wig, Cole Haan heels,or be fully dressed in ATL guzzling large amounts of water while blogging..though I have considered it :P

“I would say, first of all, congratulations on your hard hard work — getting your babies here safe and sound!,” she beamed. “Second, hold on. The NICU is quite a scary ride. Finally, you can do this — from now until forever, you will struggle with a gamut of emotions but you can and you will be okay.”

Gosslin goes on to caution the California mother that, like all new moms, she should “look forward to feelings of overwhelming proportions — good, bad and ugly.” But unlike moms of singles or twins, moms of remarkable multiples will be barraged by outsiders. “People will pop up with advice when they have no idea [of] the situation.” And of course, more babies means more help, which means more people around all the time.

The new mom should be prepared for a “loss of privacy, and loneliness,” Gosselin said. “It’s all survivable, though, if you are determined enough.”

ll the California octuplets are still in the NICU. While they are reported to be doing well, they aren’t out of the woods yet; three of the eight require breathing assistance. Their doctors indicated that the next seven days will be critical for all eight babies.

Serious medical uncertainties is something Gosselin relates to, saying that she and husband Jon got through the NICU with “Lots of prayer!” She also cautions, though, that “our babies sailed through the NICU. But that was rare and a miracle to say the least.” We hope that the octuplets have as easy a time as the Gosselin’s sextuplets did.

Finally, Gosselin has a simple but powerful piece of advice for the new mom: “Trust God’s plan — He knows best!” We’re sure that lots of people — Kate Gosselin included — will be keeping these tiny babies in their prayers in the days to come.

(Lunch) Chicken and Cheese Steaks

Here's a recipe for a similar chicken and cheese steak sandwhich recipe

Ingredients

1 loaf (11 3/4 oz.) Pepperidge Farm® Mozzarella & Garlic Bread *
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast , cut into strips
1 small green OR red pepper cut into 2" strips
1 medium onion , sliced

Cooking Instructions

PREPARE bread according to pkg. directions.

HEAT oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned, stirring often. Remove chicken.

ADD pepper and onion and cook until tender. Return chicken to skillet and heat through.

SPOON chicken mixture on bottom bread half and top with remaining bread half. Cut into quarters. Makes 4 sandwiches.

TIP: *Also delicious with Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Garlic Bread.
